I ran the lsusb command which showed that my WiFi adapter is part of the Broadcom 43xx family. Does this mean that it will work if I just install the b43openfwwf package, or is it more complicated than that? Would I also need the bfwcutter or btools packages, or am I completely off base with the b packages? I've read a lot about the ndiswrapper package, but it seems like it's generally considered obsolete now.
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. John Re: Want to install WiFi driver for Netgear N on F22 That model supposedly uses a realtek chip 'rtlcu' which is already supported by the kernel.

According to this page anyway. I found this post on the RPi forum :. I was not all that fond of this black layout. The antennas are not removable, which can be a small bummer.
Any Third Party Driver for Netgear Wireless USB Adapter for OS X
I cannot help but wonder if the plugin layout was created with WiFi range expansion in your mind. You may plug in the unit into any socket in your home, and after configuring it manually which incidentally, can be performed either way; as a secondary WiFi network origin or at precisely the exact same network itself , you may enjoy a healthy experience at any part of your home with assisted connectivity. The apparatus has its own set of flaws too. The non-detachable antennae may not be excusable for everybody.
